- Mane: Brush over to wrong side and comb with Hippo-King as Normal, than brush back
- Flip the mane back and shorten to desired length
- Tail: Lift the top hairs, doing 2-3 even strokes, leave the centre top hairs long.

Make sure you place the Hippo King right at the base of the neck/mane, then comb down!
Do NOT use in one area for too long - Move along and repeat!

Hippo King to the rescue
My daughter was told about the Hippo King and how good it was compared to other products, which just didnt cut the mustard, so to speak. Her horse, Oscar, didnt like his mane being pulled whatsoever so Leah wanted to try it on her horse which has a thick mane. She is impressed!!

An excellent solution
I have been searching and searching for a way to get my pony's mane thinner for plaiting without pulling, as his mane is very thick at the top and thin at the bottom. I have to admit I was pretty skeptical when I ordered this. To my delight, the Hippo King gives the same result as pulling, works so much faster (think how long it takes to brush your horses mane, that's it!), and is pain free!! A fantastic product, highly recommend.

Really easy!
This is a great product for thinning really thick manes without the pain for your horse! So quick and easy to use. Care needs to be taken to not get carried away, but really happy I bought it.
