- Mane: Brush over to wrong side and comb with Hippo-King as Normal, than brush back
- Flip the mane back and shorten to desired length
- Tail: Lift the top hairs, doing 2-3 even strokes, leave the centre top hairs long.

Make sure you place the Hippo King right at the base of the neck/mane, then comb down!
Do NOT use in one area for too long - Move along and repeat!

Such a handy tool so quick !!
Love it !!! Soo handy and quick it's my new best friend . Took me no time at to get my horses tail done and they loved it !! One of mares hates getting her tail done she stood there really enjoying it .

Genuinely pain-free
I bought this in order to tidy the (very feral)mane of my pregnant chestnut mare in what I hoped would be a pain free manner. It was amazing! Within ten minutes the job was done, she had her head down snoozing the whole time.

Love my Hippo King
So today my work mate and I did 16 TB mares manes. Some of them are a very thick, long, matted mess. The hippo king allows quick, pain free thinning and shortening. Some of the horses are touchy, but all coped well. Many more manes to go ... Love my hippo king
